SevenBridge Financial Group Funds Top Scholarship for HeliStorm™ 2025
STEM schools in the Columbus, Dayton & Cincinnati, Ohio region will compete for cash scholarships at the largest scale RC helicopter event in North America
Littleton, CO — HeliStorm™ 2025, a 501(c)(3) based in the Denver metro area, is pleased to announce SevenBridge Financial Group has agreed to fund the top STEM school scholarship to be awarded at HeliStorm™ 2025. The first-of-its-kind event will take place from May 29-June1, 2025 on the front grounds of the National Museum of the United States Air Force.
According to senior wealth advisor and SevenBridge partner, Justin Ferraccio, “this event not only highlights incredible skill and precision but also reflects our commitment to advancing STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education. Through our sponsorship, we aim to empower the next generation of innovators, encourage hands-on learning, and inspire young minds to explore the vast possibilities within STEM fields.”
The event offers STEM administrators, faculty and students a chance to engage professionals in the aviation industry while taking in the beauty and engineering majesty of scale radio control helicopters.
“Our mission is to bring STEM schools and aviation industry professionals together at a historic venue with scale RC helicopters at center stage,” said Michael Kranitz, the creator of the event. STEM schools in the Columbus, Dayton and Cincinnati areas can earn a cash scholarship simply by sending the most students to the event, which is free for them and the general public to attend. The top school will take down the SevenBridge-funded $2,500 to support the school’s science and engineering programs. School administrators and faculty will have the opportunity to meet with aviation industry professionals to understand how they can work together to advance interest in, and career paths toward, the aviation industry at large.
The event looks to attract more than 100 scale helicopter pilots and 200+ models from all parts of the world, along with major industry suppliers and members of the full scale aviation industry. Kranitz expects full media coverage of the event, which he says is “key to raising awareness among members of the public.”
The Air Force Museum Foundation and the National Aeronautic Association are also supporting the event among other prominent industry members.
